East Lothian’s Garleton Lodge, a small luxury hotel and recipient of various quality and food awards, has recently teamed up with Kitchens by Coast to launch their pop-up Cookery School.

Do you find yourself flicking through recipe books then repeatedly cooking the same dishes? Whether you’re a complete beginner known to burn pasta, a novice looking to further improve your cooking skills or a budding chef, cookery classes have many benefits. They provide you with instruction on how to cook and you’ll learn new skills while adding to your own personal recipe repertoire.

Garleton Lodge Cookery School will initially pop up and use the state of the art kitchen facilities at Kitchens by Coast’s Newcraighall showroom.Offering a great selection of practical cookery classes for food lovers of all abilities, they cater for groups of up to eight people. Plans are in place to move the cookery school to Garleton Lodge where they will offer classes on a residential basis. They will also hold cookery demonstrations and a Chef’s Table.

So whether cooking is a newly discovered interest, or something you’ve dreamed of pursuing for years, a cookery class is for you.
