Spice Pots is celebrating after their Goan Blend has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2018.

Winners from 26 categories will be announced in front of 800 guests at the prestigious awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday 7th June at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Melanie Auld, Director of Spice Pots said “We are delighted that our fiery Goan Blend has been shortlisted as a finalist for this award. There are records suggesting that spice blends have been sold in Edinburgh as far back as 1798 and although not traditionally thought of as a Scottish product, given that curry is one of Scotland’s favourite foods, we think it very fitting.”
