The Scottish Ornithologists’ Club (SOC) based at Waterston House in Aberlady is delighted to welcome back renowned wildlife artist, Keith Brockie, for an exhibition of new work.
Originally from Haddington, Keith Brockie spent many years sketching in Aberlady Bay, Gullane Point, North Berwick, the Bass Rock and Musselburgh Lagoons, particularly as a young artist when he began combining his love of wildlife and painting in his now characteristic annotated sketches and watercolour paintings. He has since travelled far and wide, observing and recording the wildlife of such varied parts of the world as Scandinavia, North Yemen, Tanzania, India and North America but he has never lost interest in the flora and fauna of Scotland, particularly loved for the rich coastal wildlife and the large colonies of seabirds found here.
Keith’s work will be exhibited at Waterston House from Saturday 16 September to Wednesday 15th November 2017.
