There’s lots of fun to be had at the Scottish Seabird Centre this winter.

Control the interactive live cameras to spot seal pups! While looking out for pups, there is also the chance to see a live birth. If you spot a live seal birth, not only will you have the chance to name the seal, but you will be awarded with your very own seal adoption pack, worth £30.

There’s a theme of Poles Apart in the Discovery Centre, with 3D movies, trail and family-friendly activities taking place right throughout the winter months.

The photography exhibition has proved a huge hit! Celebrating Coastal Birds features the work of award-winning photographer Tom Langlands and emerging new photographer Daniel Doran from Gullane. This exhibition seeks to showcase the many amazing seabirds that can be seen around the East Lothian coastline, and on islands including the Bass Rock and Isle of May. Head down to the Discovery Centre to see their stunning work.

There’s a whole host of fantastic treats in the Gift Shop and Christmas lunch is available in the Seabird Café. Seabird Members – don’t forget it’s Members’ Shopping Week from 4 to 10 December, with extra discounts available. Anyone who is not a Member is very welcome to join, which helps support the centre’s education and conservation activities.
