Food and Drink Columnist Amanda Farnese-Heath’s foodie find…

Just off the plane from Dublin I meet my husband for tea in Edinburgh, but we had no idea where to go. Wandering along Rose Street we found an absolute gem called ‘Dough’. There are just a few seats outside and one table inside, which we managed to sit at. Two of the most beautiful pizzas arrived, and being Italian I don’t say this lightly! They were the best I’ve tasted in Scotland. Rows of different oils to add to the already delicious topping plus two beautiful basil plants you could pluck extra leaves from. And the cherry on the cake, you can bring your own booze. An absolute find indeed!
