December 2025 was the final issue of Local Life. This wasn’t an easy decision. Rising print and distribution costs made it harder and harder to keep the magazine going. And, despite our best efforts, advertising declined, making it even more challenging to continue producing the magazine to the standard we’ve always aimed for. So, after much consideration, we made the incredibly difficult decision to stop publishing Local Life.

Established in 2007, Local Life was a free bi-monthly Community and Lifestyle Magazine with a loyal and steadily increasing readership in East Lothian. The diverse content of our magazine attracted all walks of life. A typical issue included local news and events, fashion and interiors advice, restaurant reviews, recipes, healthy living tips and features with local people and businesses.
